2017 — The Beginning
MuQi started in Dongguan, China, initially as a small workshop processing metal cabinets. At that time, our core business was contract manufacturing (OEM) for metal filing cabinets.
This early phase provided us with invaluable hands-on experience in metal processing, welding, surface finishing, assembly, and production management. More importantly, it laid a solid foundation for understanding quality standards, production efficiency, and customer needs.
2018–2020 — Building Manufacturing Expertise
As our business grew, we continuously optimized our production processes and enhanced our manufacturing capabilities.
Our scope of business expanded from the manufacture of single-type metal cabinets to a wider range of metal furniture products. During this period, we focused on improving production efficiency and product consistency, while strengthening quality control and manufacturing standards.
Rather than relying solely on price competition, we focused on building a reliable manufacturing foundation.
2021–2023 — Moving Toward Comprehensive Metal Furniture Solutions
Leveraging years of experience in metal furniture manufacturing, we developed stronger capabilities in product design, production management, quality control, and project-based manufacturing.
Our business focus gradually shifted from individual metal furniture products to providing comprehensive solutions for group accommodation spaces—particularly for schools, universities, employee dormitories, and various institutional projects.
This period marked a significant transformation from a contract manufacturer to a specialized metal furniture enterprise.
2024 — The Founding of MuQi Furniture
In 2024, we officially launched the "MQ" (MuQi Furniture) brand.
This marked a major new chapter in our development—transitioning from contract manufacturing for others to building our own brand and directly serving customers in the global market.
Today, MuQi Furniture specializes in the manufacturing and supply of **metal dormitory furniture**. Our product range includes metal bunk beds, loft beds, student dormitory beds, metal wardrobes, storage lockers, desks, and related furniture accessories. We collaborate with overseas importers, distributors, project contractors, schools, and institutional buyers to provide OEM, ODM, and project-based manufacturing services.
